The MESA V2's SMARTSecure System combines auto-retracting LATCH connectors and a visual indicator that changes from red to green, ensuring a simple and accurate installation. Suitable for infants weighing 4–35 lbs and up to 32" in height, the MESA V2 includes an infant insert, wedge, and low harness position, making it ideal for preemies and smaller newborns (4–11 lbs). The updated fit inlay provides optimized infant body positioning, while the soft, breathable, and moisture-wicking carrier fabrics keep your baby cool and comfortable.
The adjustable headrest with Side Impact Protection has been increased in size for greater head containment, improving side impact protection. The no-rethread harness adjusts with the headrest, providing a seamless and secure fit. The carrier also features a carry handle with a stroller release button and a new 4th anti-rebound handle position for increased safety in rebound and rear-impact collisions.
For added convenience, the MESA V2 offers storage pockets for harness buckles and easily removable, washable seat fabric. The larger UPF hideaway canopy provides extra sun protection and privacy, 20% larger than the current MESA canopy.
The MESA V2 attaches directly to VISTA and CRUZ strollers without adapters, offering a seamless transition from car to stroller. It is also compatible with the Minu and Ridge strollers with the use of adapters.
The European Routing feature provides a safe and secure carrier-only installation when a base is not convenient, with the belt path securing the carrier at three points of contact to reduce movement.
The MESA V2 is made with fabric that is free from fire retardant chemicals, including the large UPF 25 plus hideaway canopy, and is GREENGUARD Gold Certified to support healthier air quality and low chemical emissions.
The robust infant insert is designed to provide better fit and body positioning for babies weighing approximately 4–11 lbs. The simple one-crotch buckle position and no-rethread, adjustable harness make buckling up a breeze.
The extra-large, integrated, extendable canopy provides more protection outside and conveniently tucks away when not in use. The convenient release button on the top of the carrier handle allows for a seamless transition from stroller to car, with the reversible option enabling baby to face you while strolling.
